Remember when banks came out with the debit instead of writing checks? Remember all of those commercials touting the time saving factors of just swiping the card versus getting your checkbook, filling it out, pulling ID, and pissing off everyone in line? Liars. All of them.
While I'm on the too many questions rant, what about videos? Why, when I put in the DVD of my choice, do I then have to choose between main menu or previews, full screen or wide screen, then play? Could I not just put it the DVD and have it play, with nothing else to do?
This is not a lazy issue, this is an issue of streamlining for effectiveness. I am wasting time pushing buttons, making useless decisions. I have already agreed to the purchase amount by swiping my card, I have already decided what I wanted when I popped in the DVD. Why make this more complicated?
